The thrones
Yellow
Yellow was one of the first of the thrones. Probably the first of it all. They are considered the
leader of the thrones, but they are not very active. People often call them the queen of the thrones
and they are the only one who keeps in contact with Green. They used to be involved with the gilded
family, but now they prefer to observe the world from their throne. They are one of the two people
with the ability to utilize divine lightning, the other being their sibling Gold, who they used to
know but rarely if ever speaks to anymore. They use divine lightning.
Green
Green is the second ever throne and is therefore known as the king of the thrones. It is rumoured
that they still have contact with Yellow. they were the one who thought Lime the basics of magic, and
the one that took them away from Earth. They are mostly absent to the world, but there are rumours
that they wander around, helping and teaching people.
Lime
Lime was once a human, living on Earth like any other. But then, they left Earth and studied magic.
They kept collecting magic knowledge and artifacts until they eventually grew to become one of the
most powerful mages ever to exist. They became friend with Orange, and they went on adventures
together in Orange’s ship. While adventuring with Orange, they kept building up their abilities as a
mage, and eventually earned their place as the Lime throne. When they were finished adventuring with
Orange, they had a solid place in the world, both as the most powerful mage, and with their projects.
The first major project was to hire an esteemed scientist to do tests and experiments on magic
artifacts and elements. The second, was to start a corporation called trop, selling all sorts of rare
goods and making a useable profit. The third was taking an elemental of death and making them
powerful enough to try to make use out of the mysterious and hostile underworld. This elemental ended
up becoming more important than initially expected, even becoming a throne. The trop corporation
eventually crossed with Klementine, and Lime met the leader of Klementine, Vermillion. Vermillion and
Lime discussed many things, eventually becoming very good friends. They taught things to each other,
Lime would explain big plans for spells and magic while Vermillion talks about business plans and
tactics. They worked on projects together, becoming incredibly close. Vermillion became so close to
Lime that Lime taught them how one could kill Lime. Lime was powerful. So powerful, that killing them
was almost impossible. But they wanted more power. They were not blinded by power, but they found it
fun. Even though they could do almost anything, there were always new power to conquer. One such
power, is the power of death, which only the Mint throne and Gold could fully utilize. they made a
deal with Gold, to give them the power. Lime experimented on their new power, making it easier to
use, and more efficient. But their power corrupted them, making them greedier and power-hungry. The
other thrones noticed this. They became less friendly with Lime, until eventually their closest
friend, Vermillion, had to kill them. The final thing the mage did, was to spread their magic around
the world imbuing many places with mysterious power.
Vermillion
Vermillion was born in the autumn mountains, into a rich family that taught them many tactics in
trade, battle and persuasion. They escaped at the age of fifteen into the city, where they used the
things they were taught to start a gang. At first, they did small things, but they quickly grew to a
large group, with high influence over the city. The group took control of the city, but although they
were originally a crime group, Vermillion decided that they should make the city a better place to
be, with proper laws and infrastructure. The city became the capital of the country Klementine, which
became what the name the group took after taking over the city. Through some trade dealings with the trop
corporation they met the Lime throne. Vermillion and Lime became very good friends, Lime thought
Vermillion about magic, while Vermillion talked to Lime about his plans. Lime met many people, but
Lime did a deal with Gold for power, that made them greedy. Eventually, Vermillion decided they had to
end Lime, and so they did.
Orange
Orange was one of the first being ever to exist, being made by Yellow, a bit before their brother Red-orange.
the reason they were made, was to create the world along with Yellow, Green, Dark blue and
Gray. They created some of the most fundamental parts of the world, like fire, Earth, water and wind.
The thing they considered to be their greatest work is temperature. They kept on making things after
that, not by making something entirely new, but by combining the things that already existed. Right
before Lime became a throne, Lime and Orange went exploring together a lot. Lime was as always
seeking powerful magic, while Orange was looking for new things to tinker with, and ways to tinker
with them. They travelled on Orange’s ship, another creation they are proud of. The friendship
between Lime and Orange broke however, after another friend of Lime, Vermillion, murdered Red-orange
after being challenged to duel a throne without using magic. Ever since Red-orange was murdered by
Vermillion, Orange has been isolated, doing their tinkering in solitude, not speaking to anyone other
than occasionally the scientist.
Scarlet
Scarlet grew up as Caroline Charrot, in the eastern part of Heskal. When they were twelve, they were
chosen as sacrifice. They managed escape to the west side. They formed a rebellion, and with some
clever tactic and help from Isabelle, a princess, managed to take over the city. Caroline and the
princess married each other, and Isabelle took the last name charrot. After this, they started
studying ways to use different magics that most find taboo, as they meant they were no different from
other magic. Isabella studied manipulative power, power that could use people’s feelings and
thoughts. As they did this, they grew further and further apart, until they started fighting.
Isabella, or Pink that they were known as now that they were a throne, took over the city of Heskal,
whilst Scarlet only went with a few of the best soldiers. Scarlet was the best in combat, especially
with their new abilities, but lost to the tactics and manipulation of Pink. As a final blow, Pink
used an ability as taboo as Scarlet’s own, to take all energy and ability from Scarlet. Now all
Scarlet can do is sit in their throne and daydream about the past.
Mint
Mint is one of the newer thrones. They were originally a spirit of death, floating around endlessly
without consciousness or any purpose. As a project in pursuit of magic, Lime hired Mint to regulate
death and hell, a hostile dimension of caves. This experiment was more than just successful, leading
to Mint having a huge amount of influence over the world, as they could interfere with creatures
after death and open to new magic that uses souls. Because of this, they were taken in as part of the
throne council.
Magenta
Magenta was first a member of the gilded family. They were the second prince, their brother being the
actual heir. But one day, while trying to learn spells that affected the mind, like illusions and
mind control, they were thrown out of the gilded family, and down to the dark city. Unlike what
happens when most fall into the dark city, Magenta was able to keep their conscience. Instead, they
took over the city, and were able to use it to learn the abilities they were thrown out of the gilded
family for. Because they were able to take over the dark city, they became a throne, and Yellow
taught them teleportation, gravity control and other such abilities. At first, they were on Pink’s
side in the crystal war, but they quickly became neutral, as they had nothing against the other side,
and saw no advantage in fighting. After the war, they remained neutral in most matters, and
surprisingly did not take part in the fall of Lime.
Dark blue
Dark blue is one of the older thrones. Their origin is not known, but it is thought that they were
created by Yellow. Dark blue is supposed to watch over space, making sure that everything is as it
should be. They don’t care much for anything other than space itself, so usually they are in a sort
of sleep state where they observe the cosmos while not spending as little energy as possible. They
also play chess with Lime on Thursdays, as they want to learn about why games and such are so
popular. Dark blue has no sense of emotion instead doing only what they think is logical. They can
understand emotion through logic, but cannot experience it themself. While they do not master it,
they can use divine lightning.
Cyan
Cyan is a replacement for turquoise, and while Cyan is not powerful themselves, and is only really a
throne as a representative for the creatures that live in the tundra. As the representative for the
ones in the Tundra, they are the only one who can use coldsteel, a metal native to the tundra.
Pink
Pink grew up in the eastern city of Heskal as the princess Isabelle. They always had their own ideas
of how they wanted to run the city, and they thought it would be best to overthrow it. They teamed up
with Caroline Charrot, a rebel who had formed an alliance against the city. After they had taken over
the city, they got married and both studied different magic. Studying different but both quite foul
magics, they grew distant, and eventually started fighting. Caroline left the city with a few of the
best soldiers, leaving Isabella, or Pink as they were now known as, to rule the city alone. They're a
harsh ruler, ruling mostly as a single dictator, but they made the city successful, becoming a major
place. Seeing this, Caroline or Scarlet, now went for another attack, going alone straight for Pink.
The battle lasted long, but Pink managed to use a powerful spell to drain all of Scarlet’s energy.
Gray
Gray does not exist in the way that other thrones exist. They are in a plane beyond existence,
overseeing everything and keeping away threats to the fabric of existence itself. An encounter with
Gray starts with eyes appearing all around, seeing everything in the space where the encounter
happens. Next, the walls, objects and structures will disappear until all you can see is the eyes.
When this has been done, you are distant enough from reality that Gray themselves can appear before you.
